Ed Dziuk

Ed, Eleanor and their children Annalee and Ian moved to Phoenix from Ontario, Canada in 1993. They purchased a home in Cox Meadows in December that year. Ed was employed by Phoenix Transit System as audit director until 1996 when he began accepting clients and doing contract work for local Public Accounting Firms. He received his license to practice as an Arizona Certified Public Accountant in 1998 and joined a local public accounting firm later that year.

As a Cox Meadows founding officer, Ed was the Treasurer. He served in that capacity until 2006. He has served terms as Chair and was Secretary until his re-election to Chair in December 2012.

Ed completed the IRS’s application for 501(c)(3) status which was finalized in 2004 making Cox Meadows a formal public charity who can accept deductible public donations.

Ed is motivated by the friendships with the great neighbors in Cox Meadows, and the opportunities to work with City Officials, Police Leadership, and local business partners. He believes that “whether people believe they can or believe they can’t – they are right”. He continues to work with the Block Watch and contribute to the many neighborhood initiatives and events as it strives to achieve a strong sense of community.
